• in charge of running day to day operations of the Cruise Ship Terminals with multi-national unionized team• monitor Canada Place and Ballantyne Terminals according HSE and WCB rules, policies and regulations using CCTV and Access Control systems• Manager of Canada Place and Ballantyne Terminals security staff• attending and investigating all incidents• responding to first aid calls insideoutside of the Cruise Ship Terminals• ensure all applicable mandates including policy and procedures are followed• respond to all security breaches• take command during emergency situations until relieved by the Incident Commander• in charge of recruiting, hiring and providing training-on-sites• co-ordinate daily activities such as positions, assignments and breaks• Supervise commissioning personnel and activities to provide timely and reliable start-up of facilities at the beginning of the Cruise Ships season• Coordinate between flow back crew and operations personnel to assure a smooth and effective transfer of equipment and documentation• Interface with various disciplines, such as, engineering, purchasing, maintenance, operations, stevedoring, and delivery personnel• Complete systems walk downs and start-up checklists• Conduct functional performance tests on critical equipment such as instrument and electrical equipment, control and safety equipment, freight elevators, escalators and lifts, security and fire alarm systems• Responsible for upholding WCB (Workers Compensation Board) and HSE policies and procedures• Conduct dailyweekly safety meetings
