• Business partnering the Managing Director in terms of commercial, financial support and strategic direction• Oversee the financial performance of all business units, to include the preparation of the monthly reporting and forecasting; ensuring timely and accurate commentary to the Group. • Leading the budgeting process, contribute to development of the company strategy and planning• Working on five year business plans and assess new business opportunities• Leading acquisitions (acquisitions-investment appraisals, due diligence, integration and negotiations)• Liaising and business partnering with all business leaders, analyzing and challenging existing operations and business development activities, providing recommendations and strategic support• Ensure the appropriate controls of business performance are in place and swift actions are taken to mitigate any deficiencies• Contractual evaluation and negotiation with clients & suppliers• Ensure compliance with local regulations in terms of operating permits as well as the tax legislation• Control the maintenance of information systems, ensure accounting systems functionality• Establish performance requirements and personal development targets.
