The main activities of the Association:•Coordinating Russian SWIFT users activities and providing them with legal, organizational, counseling and other assistance, protecting their rights and interests in governmental bodies of the Russian Federation, helping them to improve their performance;•Cooperation with the SWIFT Board of Directors on planning issues and development of SWIFT in the Russian Federation; verification of the Russian users with respect to compliance with criteria elaborated by the Association, following the decisions of the SWIFT Board of Directors and; •Nominations to the SWIFT Board of Directors on behalf of the Russian financial institutions – SWIFT members, as well as recommendation of experts for the working groups and other bodies of SWIFT; •Informing Russian SWIFT users on the decisions of governing bodies, tax authorities and other organizations on relevant issues of SWIFT functioning in the Russian Federation; •Organizing working groups to address specific objectives of the Association serving interests of its members, management of the Russian National User Group, providing Interfaces User group and Working groups activities in developing the standards; •Importation of cryptographic hardware in the territory of the Russian Federation in order to provide connectivity to SWIFT and replacement of unserviceable equipment; •Organizing training and preparation of documents, including recommendations on the use of SWIFT for ruble payments and providing translation of SWIFT User Handbook; •Organizing meetings, conferences, seminars and participation in the exhibitions.
